You have to have good arguments. Those who decide to spend their summer vacation in the Hessian Kellerwald-Edersee National Park are primarily opting for an active vacation in nature. For example, hiking on the KellerwaldsteigThe 156-kilometer trail leads through deep, dark forests. With untouched nature along the way, deep silence and resinous air, the trail is a real balm for stressed city souls and does all around good.

Lights, more colorful, more lively it goes on the Edersee primeval forest trail which leads once around the Edersee on 68 kilometers length, whereby it goes in between also times strongly uphill and downhill. If the offspring should pull a face at such hiking plans, tell best immediately from the Edersee Game Park and the 800-meter squirrel trail there. And if that still doesn't convince the young summer visitors: Lake Edersee also has a leisure park for kids with an 850-meter summer toboggan run, quads and pedal boats for rent, and a "Tolles Haus" whose special feature is that it is upside down. You really can't expect more from a national park!
