In our four categories - Nature, City Experiences, Camping & Van Life and Summer Adventures. - have you over 6,000 photos submitted and the possibility to win great prizes, among others from Leica, Olympus and the kartenmacherei as well as vacations in Germany. Our professional jury has selected the 25 best images from each category that have ended up on the shortlist (Top 100). Each of these photos wins a prize. And from the shortlist of the best 100 pictures you have now chosen the winner of the audience award. We thank you all for your numerous submissions and wish all winners a lot of fun with their prizes.

From 15.6.2022 to 15.9.2022 you will have the opportunity to submit your pictures in the four competition categories Summer Adventures, City life, nature and Camping & Van Life to be submitted. The images will be released after a short editorial check and published here in the photo contest gallery.

After that, the hot phase begins for our expert jury: They view all the images and determine the 25 best images per category. The jury phase begins on 16.9.2022 and ends on 23.9.2022 with the publication of the shortlist.

Now it's your turn. Vote for the winner of the Discover Germany Photo Contest 2022! From the shortlist of the best 100 photos selected by our expert jury, you can vote for your favorite from September 24 to October 3.
Here's how it works: Simply click on "Vote" in the photo contest gallery above under your favorite picture. You can vote for a picture once a day.

The good news: All 100 images on the shortlist will win a prize. But which one? Choose your favorite from the best 100 entries. Exciting prizes await the winners: from a year's subscription to CHIP PHOTO VIDEO magazine, photo book vouchers from kartenmacherei, escapade books from DuMont Reiseverlag to a short vacation at MAREMÜRITZ Yachthafen Resort. First place in the audience award can look forward to an Olympus E-M10 Mark IV.

Do you love to be outside in nature and capture its details in your pictures? Then this is the right category for you. Here you can win fantastic vacations in Germany's most beautiful landscapes. Our expert jury will select the winners in this category.

Vacationing in a tent, caravan or camper is the greatest thing for me? Then send us your best camping moments and win a camera from Olympus, a short trip in a van to Fehmarn or a whole week at a hinterland.camp campsite. The winners will be selected by our expert jury.

The prizes in this category are awarded by our expert jury. The prizes include a free stay at Center Parcs, a HARZDRENALIN stay in Saxony-Anhalt or a luxurious short trip to Autostadt in Lower Saxony.

Outstanding architecture, lively nightlife and culture at its best: Germany's cities are so diverse and therefore ideal for taking impressive photos. In this category, three city trips are waiting for you as prizes, which will be awarded by our expert jury: to Hamburg, Bremen or Berlin.

These three prizes are awarded by Lower Saxony, Saarland and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the most beautiful picture from the respective federal state. The prizes include a vacation in Bad Harzburg, a voucher for photo products from the Max Hünten House on Zingst and a gourmet package with Saarland specialties.
