It is probably one of the most exquisite events this summer: the Princely Garden Festival at Fasanerie Castle. The complex in Eichenzell is considered the most beautiful baroque castle in Hesse. There you can stroll through the extensive grounds or look around in the large exhibition about garden culture and rural lifestyle. There will also be music, art, lectures and exquisite food. Due to the great demand, the event will even take place twice in 2023: once in mid-May and once in early September together with "Feinwerk", the market for real things.
The event calendar in Fulda also presents itself beyond that is well filled this summer. The town in the Rhön region wants to inspire its guests with a whole series of events: For example, "Robin Hood" - a rousing stage story about freedom, love and justice, composed by Dennis Martin and Chris de Burgh - is again waiting for musical fans. During the musical summer from the end of June to the end of August, the play will be performed several times a week. The castle courtyard, on the other hand, is all about culinary delights: from the beginning of August, top chefs from the region will be spoiling their guests at the Pleasure Festival with their culinary art and excellent wines. A little city adventure is the series of events "Pausen, Höfe und Genüsse". Always at lunchtime, you go on an enjoyable voyage of discovery: Hidden squares and courtyards in the old town await you - and art, culture and conviviality always accompany a good meal. At the end of July there is a real highlight: When the lights come on on the stage in front of St. Salvator Cathedral and thousands flock to Cathedral Square to listen to the top stars of the music world, it's Cathedral Square Concerts in Fulda again. Also this year, the star line-up can be seen: Within a few days, Eros Ramazotti, Michael Patrick Kelly, Johannes Oerding, Simply Red and Roland Kaiser will perform in the heart of the baroque quarter. The special tip: The State Garden Show 2023. From the end of April, Fulda is transformed into a blooming garden paradise: During the State Garden Show, nature will be experienced on 42 hectares.
