Rail travel is climate protection

On long-distance services, you can travel to Brandenburg with 100 percent green electricity from all over Germany, relaxed and without traffic jams. Within the state, regional transport will get you to your destination comfortably, easily and in a climate-friendly way.

Our tip

With the ICE, Intercity or EC, you can easily get to Berlin from all directions. From there, you can continue on the regional train network to many destinations in Brandenburg.

Some larger cities in Brandenburg can also be reached directly by Intercity. Oranienburg, Doberlug-Kirchhain and Elsterwerda have recently been connected every 2 hours via the Intercity line Rostock - Berlin - Dresden. Prenzlau can be reached by a daily ICE train from Munich via Nuremberg, Erfurt, Leipzig and Berlin, and on weekends also from Hanover and Cologne.
