Determine the sleeping place yourself: The mobile barn house

The special thing:

Tiny houses are in vogue, but the "Hyt" is even more unusual: Guests of the Wildberghof can choose the place where the mobile barn house is parked for their overnight stay. Up to five people can sleep in the design award-winning "Hyt".

The place:

The Wild mountain farm Buchet is located near Deggendorf at an altitude of 1000 meters on the Hirschenstein and has the largest deer reserve in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park.

The pleasure:

Guests can choose their sleeping place individually and are there all alone. The barn cottage can be parked anywhere on the farm grounds - at the edge of the forest, pony enclosure, pond or meadows with mountain views. The "Hyt" is comfortably equipped like a hotel room with toilet, washing facilities and wood stove.

Camping in the wilderness: trekking sites in the Franconian Forest

The special thing:

Unique experience in the forest: only since summer 2019 there are trekking sites in the Franconian Forest Nature Park. They are located in the middle of the forest, away from forest roads and roads, and are accessible only by hiking trails. A maximum of four tents may be pitched and always only for one night.

The place:

To the three Trekking places in the Franconian Forest several more are to be added. In the north, near the Rennsteig between Ludwigsstadt and Kleintettau, is the Kobach site. In the east of the nature park, near Geroldsgrün in the Geroldsgrün forest above the Langenau valley, is the Rehwiese site. On the highest mountain of the Franconian Forest, on the Döbraberg near Schwarzenbach am Wald, is the Döbraberg course.

The pleasure:

After a long hike through the "wilderness" you can now officially pitch your tent on a trekking site - and spend the night among beech and spruce trees and under the stars. The sites are equipped with wooden platforms and ground areas for four tents, a fireplace with seating, firewood, water barrel with service water and weather-protected outdoor toilet. Campers must bring their own drinking water, toilet paper and food!

Sleeping with the birds: Spend the night in the tree house

The special thing:

Sleep in trees, hover above the forest floor and be awakened by birdsong: This childhood dream comes true in the tree house hotel. The four tree houses are made of local wood and built with traditional techniques, shingled and partly egg-shaped. With a size of just under 40 square meters, they consist of two separate bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, heating, veranda and roof terrace.

The place:

The Tree house hotel belongs to a vacation and farmhouse, which is situated alone on a hill at the edge of the Kemptner Forest near Betzigau in the district of Oberallgäu.

Romantic place for wine lovers: living in a wine barrel

The special thing:

A one-of-a-kind in the garden: in the past, 8000 liters of Silvaner ripened here, but today lovers enjoy a cozy double bed, red and white curtains, heating and seating in the restored wine barrel.

The wine barrel belongs to the Guest house "Ingrid, which is located in the Franconian wine country in Ramsthal.

Dreaming in the trees: tree house hotel Pfaffenhofen

Forest, water and luxury: The five tree houses are grouped around a small natural swimming lake and are connected by footbridges - at a height of five meters. The luxurious features of the cottages in solid wood frame construction include a 20-square-meter terrace lounge with lake view, a heated outdoor whirlpool on the non-visible back terrace and convenient access via wide stairs.

The Tree house hotel is located in Jetzendorf in the southwest of the Pfaffenhofen district about 38 kilometers north of Munich.

Here, several dreams come true during an overnight stay: to inhabit a house on the lake with its own bathing access, to sleep in the trees and not to have to do without any comforts during your vacation. Retreat in the spa triangle: Living in and with nature at the Hafnerleiten estate

Yoga in a noble ambience: Hotel Schloss Raitenbuch and the "Pearl of the Naab Valley

Hotel and Yogi Loft: Raitenbuch Castle stands out as a small fine hotel with its own yoga studio. With a focus on yoga, there are different classes every day for beginners as well as experienced yoginis and yogis, as well as longer retreats, seminars and workshops with various teachers.

Hotel Schloss Raitenbuch is located on a rock in Kallmünz about 25 kilometers north of Regensburg. Expressionist painters Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter called the town on the Naab River the "Pearl of the Naab Valley" because of its winding gasses and artists' studios.

Mountain hut on the Brauneck: Dreaming on the alp in the Tölzer Land

Alpine lodges in Oberjoch: luxury in the mountains

The special thing:

The Alpine lodges are rustic chalets with luxury equipment and quite a lot of privacy. But at the same time they belong to the Panoramahotel Oberjoch. In the immediate vicinity of the mountain chalets, which are located in a sunny high valley, there are countless hiking, climbing and mountain biking opportunities.
